How this cover letter tool works

Fill in your details, the company and the role, then write three short paragraphs. The A4 preview updates as you type so you can keep the letter on one page.

Use an example tone if you want a starting draft, then replace the company, role and proof with your own. Print or save PDF from the browser dialog. Choose A4 and turn off headers if the browser adds them.

Write One page, three parts

Opening, proof and close. That is enough for a clear application letter.

Check See it on A4

The preview is a real page. If it overflows, shorten a paragraph.

Send Copy or PDF

Copy the plain text for email, or print the designed page as PDF.

Tip: Name one result that matches the role. Generic praise is easy to ignore.

Useful notes

  •   Address a person when you can. “Dear hiring team” is fine when you cannot.
  •   The first sentence should name the role and why you are writing.
  •   The middle paragraph should prove one relevant result, not retell your whole CV.
  •   Keep the letter under one A4 page. Recruiters skim.
  •   Your draft stays in this browser until you clear it.
